Heavy duty ratchet with a wide handle. This handle is not as long as the long wide handle ratchet, but gives the same wide opening in the handle for comfortable use. Ratchets are the most common fasteners for tie down straps. The webbing is threaded through the ratchet, then ratcheting mechanism takes up the slack and tensions the assembly.
